The Lodge - A Space To Settle In
Mangrove Lodge is small enough to feel personal, while the garden is large enough to give guests privacy. Paths connect the rooms, dining areas, pool, shaded corners and coast without making the property feel crowded.
A green centre to the stay
Mature mango and palm trees, Indian almond, jackfruit, avocado, cinnamon, star fruit, frangipani, bougainvillaea, hibiscus and other tropical planting bring shade, colour and birdlife. Guests can settle beneath a mango tree or on the terrace behind the pool.
Bush babies appear in the garden after sunset, while the mangrove bay changes with the tide throughout the day.
Caring for the garden and coast
The garden, beach and mangrove bay are part of daily life here. Mangrove Lodge’s approach is best shown through practical, specific actions rather than broad environmental claims.
The sea-view pool
The pool offers an easy place to cool down, rest after an outing or spend a full day doing very little. Loungers, shaded areas, the beach bar and the terrace behind the pool keep the shared spaces close and relaxed.
The coast
The sea at Mangrove Lodge changes visibly with the tide. Swimming is easiest at high tide. At low tide, the shore opens for walking and the pool offers an easy alternative.
A day at the lodge
Morning can begin with coffee, fruit and conversation. Midday might mean the pool, a book or a short outing. Later, the west-coast light changes the garden and people return to the table. Some days will hold a full island experience. Others need very little added to them.
